2 Day
Enjoy a full day sightseeing of the city of the dreams. Start your day from the Gateway of India -one of Mumbai's most famous monuments designed by George Wittett in the Indo-Saracenic style with Gujarati and Islamic elements; watch the devotees pay their respects at the Mahalaxmi temple, Sidhi Vinayak Temple , Jain temple and at the tomb of the Muslim saint Haji Ali; see the magic of Indian history and heritage explode at the Prince of Wales Museum; take a undersea walk at the Taraporewala Aquarium and see the magic of the marine life unfold before your eyes. Learn about the Zoroastrian burial rites at the Tower of Silence and see the Christians celebrate their faith at the innumerable churches and cathedrals across the city; important ones being Mount St Mary’s, Aloysius Church, Mahim Church and St Thomas’ Cathedral.
Then visit the National Gallery of Modern Art and the Jahangir Art Gallery to see the works and exhibits of Indian masters and artists. And finally watch the sun go the horizon from one of Mumbai's most popular promenades -the Marine Drive and enjoy yourself in the carnival like atmosphere of the Juhu and Chowpatty Beaches before a deep slumber at your hotel.

Day 03 - Mumbai - Trivandrum – Kovalam
Leave Mumbai in the morning for Trivandrum. At Trivandrum (Tiruvanthapuram) following the check in of formalities enjoy your day in the sand or pamper yourselves with a herbal, body- toning message of your choice. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 - Kovalam - Cape Camorin – Kovalam
Leave in the morning for a same day return trip to Cape Camorin. Visit the Padmanabhapuram Palace & Archaeological museum - a superb example of traditional Kerala architecture and reputedly the largest wooden palace in India. Drive back to Kovalam and spent the night at hotel.

Day 05 - Kovalam – Varkala
After breakfast, proceed towards Varkala- one of the many un-spoilt beach resorts of India, where you can indulge yourself with a body therapy or enjoy the peace and tranquility at the palm fringed beach. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 - Varkala – Kumarakom
From Varkala, enjoy a speedboat or luxury cruise to the backwater country of Kumarakom and make yourself at home in its small-town hush. Feel at home! |

Day 07 - Kumarakom
Enjoy yourself with a boat ride through the verdant countryside of Kumarakom. Absorb the beauty of the villages and see the gorgeous green of the fringed palms ripple in the blue waters and blend into wavelets as you make your way to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary home to the Darters, Bitterns, Brahminy kites, Marsh Harries, Teals and several varieties of Herons roost; watch the multi hued birds fill the skies and listen to their melodious orchestra. If you are adventurous enough, you can indulge in water sports such as Wind Sailing & Water Skiing. You can even take a canoe out into the quiet lakes. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 - Kumarakom – Thekkady
From Kumarakom, ride through a scenic journey past misty mountains, spice plantations and open grasslands lined with spectacular water falls & delightful trekking trails to Periyar. On arrival check into hotel, refresh yourself & be relaxed. Overnight stay in hotel. |

Day 09 – Thekkady
Get ready to meet the king of the jungle at the Periyar Tiger Reserve- one of the most beautiful wildlife parks of India. Go on a trek with a local guide and familiarize yourself with the native birds, trees & flowers. You can even set upon a walk through the plantations filled with the heady fragrance of fresh spice. A boat safari on the Periyar Lake extends a lifetime's chance to spot exotic wildlife in its natural habitat. Like the eccentric bathing habits of the wild elephants that come down to the lake. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 - Thekkady - Munnar
In the morning, head towards a place which is known as the “nature lover's paradise"-a haven of peace and tranquility, sprawling tea plantations, pristine valleys and mountains, exotic species of flora and fauna and winding lanes filled with the heady fragrance of fresh tea, all 1800m above the sea level. Munnar is your Kashmir in the South. After arriving there, check into hotel. Overnight to be spent at hotel.

Day 11 – Munnar
Enjoy the day with sightseeing at Munnar. Visit Devikulam located some 7 km from Munnar - an idyllic hill township, which is a nature lover's retreat with its velvet lawns, exotic flora and fauna and cool mountain air. The Sita Devi Lake with its mineral waters and picturesque surroundings makes a good picnic spot. The lake is also ideal for trout fishing. Watch Nilgiri Tahr, Nilgiri Langur, Sambar, Gaur and the lion tailed Macaque roam in the wilderness at the Eravikulam National park with the Anamudi peak (2695 m) located in the Southern region of the park providing a picturesque background. . Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 - Munnar – Cochin
In the morning drive to Kochi (Cochin) – the Queen of the Arabian Sea also known as the Gateway to Kerala. After checking in the hotel, enjoy the afternoon at leisure. In the evening, enjoy a Kathakali dance show. The Kathakali dance is renowned through out the world for its harmonious blending of poetry, music, costumes and gestures to narrate stories from Indian Epics. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13 – Cochin
Morning sightseeing tour covering: Jewish Synagogue - Built in 1568 the oldest synagogue in the commonwealth stands, adorned by hundreds of exquisite hand - painted Chinese tiles in blue & white; St. Francis church originally, built out of wood in 1503 and thus earning fame as the oldest European church in India. The famous Portuguese navigator Vasco de Gama was buried there; the Sant Cruz Baslica Church situated close to St.Francis Church has some beautiful paintings. Dutch Palace - As you climb its stone steps, you enter a different world of Palanquins and heraldry, jewels and rich murals. Roam about in the cobbled streets, you will love it. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14 - Cochin – Mumbai
Leave Cochin for Mumbai after breakfast.
