In the Banganga tank of Mumbai on the auspicious occasion of Diwali is celebrated in a traditional manner. The earthen lamps are floated in the waters. The city of Bollywood Mumbai hosts the renowned Mumbai International Film Festival once in every two years. The shorts, documentary and the animation films are run at the Nehru Auditorium in the month of February.
