On the edge of the Arabian Sea is the port city of Mumbai. Mumbai is responsible for half of India's foreign trade. The Hindu festival of Diwali is another great time to plan your trip to Mumbai. The moonless night is turned into the brightest night of the year. You must check out the Marine Drive that shines bright in the light of the innumerable firecrackers. The smoke and the sound of the firecrackers make the area appear to be a war zone. In the Banganga tank of Mumbai on the auspicious occasion of Diwali is celebrated in a traditional manner. The earthen lamps are floated in the waters. The city of Bollywood Mumbai hosts the renowned Mumbai International Film Festival once in every two years. The shorts, documentary and the animation films are run at the Nehru Auditorium in the month of February.
